Imani Rose Okello
Self-taught street art artist
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- 1999 to 2017
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in street art, sometimes oil painting. My first show was in 1999 at Nairobi Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I run most mornings.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Imani
I've had 5 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
