I've spent 34 years as a lecturer in mathematics at Kinondoni Institute of Technology in Kinondoni. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I write a short note to every student at the end of term. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Imani: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
