I teach social studies at Northside Girls' School in Lagos since 1979. Most days I teach teenagers, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
