I've worked in blacksmithing from 2018 to 2025. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 340 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 10 years later for another job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Idris
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Idris: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
