Imad Zerrouki
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇲🇦 Rabat, Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, Morocco
- Old Rabat Workshop
- 1995 to 2013
- English, Arabic
My trade is carpentry. I opened my own shop in 1995 in Rabat and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Imad: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
