Bicycle repair, done properly
- 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States

My trade is bicycle repair. I opened my own shop in 1994 in San Francisco and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ian
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Ian: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
