I've coached badminton at Half-Way Tree Youth Club since 1978. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
What gifts mean to Hyacinth: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
