Hüseyin Kaan Yalçın
38 years teaching agriculture in Bornova
- 🇹🇷 Bornova, İzmir, Türkiye
- Orchid Boys' School
- Since 1988
- English, Turkish
Orchid Boys' School is my second home. I teach agriculture there since 1988, mostly first-year students.
I've run the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I watch every football match going.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Hüseyin
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Hüseyin: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me agriculture in 2004 at Orchid Boys' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Thank you again.
