Hiwot Tsion Zewdie
Guitar and tabla teacher
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Addis Ababa Ensemble
- 1979 to 2014
- English
I've played guitar from 1979 to 2014, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 20 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm always reading two books at once.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Hiwot
I wrote my first song when I was 20. It was terrible and I still love it.
