Hitomi Hirano
Coached boxing for 25 years in Tokyo
- 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
- Tokyo Community Club
- 1998 to 2023
- Japanese
For 25 years I ran the boxing program at Tokyo Community Club in Tokyo. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
What gifts mean to Hitomi: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
