For eleven years I've run the martial arts program at Harmony Swimming Club in Arlington. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
