Henry Adewale Okoro
Painter, potter and teacher at Sakura Pottery
- 🇳🇬 Epe, Lagos, Nigeria
- Sakura Pottery
- Since 2013
- English
I work mostly in embroidery, sometimes mural painting. My first show was in 2013 at Sakura Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I try to remember everyone's name. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Henry
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Henry: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
