Hendra Bayu Hartono
Youth cricket coach and mentor
- 🇮🇩 Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia
- Since 1979
- English, Indonesian
For 47 years I've run the cricket program at Semarang Sports Club in Semarang. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answer every email, even at midnight.
More about Hendra
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Hendra: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
