Heinz Hans Engel
Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇩🇪 Berlin, Berlin, Germany
- Berlin Shop
- 1999 to 2008
- German
My trade is bicycle repair. I opened my own shop in 1999 in Berlin and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm always reading two books at once.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Heinz
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Heinz: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
