Heather A. Vasquez
Professor of anthropology, Newcastle State University
- 🇦🇺 Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia
- Newcastle State University
- 1998 to 2009
- English
My subject is anthropology, and for eleven years I got to share it with undergraduates at Newcastle State University.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Heather
If you wrote a dissertation with me, I probably still have a copy on my shelf.
What gifts mean to Heather: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
