I've spent 36 years as a lecturer in mathematics at Oakwood State University in Newcastle. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I never raise my voice. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Prof. Whitaker
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
