Hayato Osamu Morita
Chess coach, Shinjuku Willow Creek Youth Club
- 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
- Shinjuku Willow Creek Youth Club
- Since 1987
- Japanese
For 39 years I've run the chess program at Shinjuku Willow Creek Youth Club in Shinjuku. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
More about Hayato
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
