For 43 years I've run the rowing program at Istanbul Mount Pleasant Athletic Club in Istanbul. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
What gifts mean to Hatice: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
