I taught computer science at Dehiwala Public School in Dehiwala from 1991 to 2004. Most days I taught teenagers, and my door was open at lunch.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Hasitha
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
