Halima Nancy Macharia

19 years at Kampala Reading Room

  • 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
  • 1984 to 2003
  • English, Swahili
I'm a librarian in Kampala. My specialty is local history archives. I learned every name in the first week. A library should feel like a living room. I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Halima: I'd put a gift toward a reading corner at the nearby school.
