I work mostly in printmaking, sometimes ceramics. My first show was in 1992 at Little Silverlake Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I take the work seriously, though not myself. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
