Halima Achieng Kimani
Gospel and traditional drumming teacher
- 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- Since 1979
- English
I've played gospel since 1979, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 17 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Halima
I write my first song when I was 15. It was terrible and I still love it.
