Hala Dina Siddiqui
Professor of sociology, Cairo Polytechnic
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- Cairo Polytechnic
- 1991 to 2006
- English, Arabic
I spent 15 years as a lecturer in sociology at Cairo Polytechnic in Cairo. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a mechanic and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Hala
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Hala: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
