Hussein Nasser Rashid

Professor of mathematics, Cairo Polytechnic

  • 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
  • Cairo Polytechnic
  • Since 2012
  • English, Arabic
My subject is mathematics, and for 14 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Cairo Polytechnic. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I fix old bicycles.

More about Hussein

Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.

What gifts mean to Hussein: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
