Thatching, done properly
- 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
- The Crescent Works
- 2018 to 2025
- English
I'm a thatching specialist. If you live around Soweto, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Gugu: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
