Gökhan Çakır
Youth badminton coach and mentor
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Istanbul Sports Club
- Since 2007
- English, Turkish, Spanish
For 19 years I've run the badminton program at Istanbul Sports Club in Istanbul. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
More about Gökhan
If you played for me, you probably remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
What gifts mean to Gökhan: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
