My trade is painting and decorating. I opened my own shop in 1982 in Lexington and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Giang
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Giang: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
