I coached cross country at Hồ Chí Minh City Football Club from 2002 to 2012. Most of my players were between 11 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Giang
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Giang: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
