Getachew Teklu Assefa

Plumbing for twelve years in Addis Ababa

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Parkside Shop
  • 1992 to 2004
  • English
I've worked in plumbing from 1992 to 2004. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 370 apprentices. The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 18 years later for another job. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Getachew: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
