Gerhard Kruger
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇿🇦 Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa
- Frangipani Repairs
- 2009 to 2020
- English
I've worked in blacksmithing from 2009 to 2020. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 650 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.

What gifts mean to Gerhard: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
