Gemma M. Castro
18 years teaching environmental science in Mandaue
- 🇵🇭 Mandaue, Cebu, Philippines
- 1989 to 2024
- English
I taught environmental science at Mandaue Primary School in Mandaue from 1989 to 2024. Most days I taught primary school children, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Gemma
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

I'm a architect now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Lethbridge.
