Gbenga Usman Mba
Self-taught ceramics artist
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Ikeja Gallery
- 1986 to 2008
- English, Hausa
I got into ceramics as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day.
Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I walk the dog by the river.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.

I bought one of your pieces in 2014. It's still the first thing I see in the morning. Greetings from Thủ Đức.
