Gbenga Festus Bankole
Printmaking artist in Zaria
- 🇳🇬 Zaria, Kaduna, Nigeria
- Old Phoenix Art Collective
- 1990 to 2009
- English, Yoruba
I work mostly in printmaking, sometimes street art. My first show was in 1990 at Old Phoenix Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I always make time for a proper cup of tea. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
More about Gbenga
I've had 12 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
