I've been a nurse for 42 years, most of them in rehabilitation at Abuja Maternity Hospital in Abuja. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I walk the dog by the river.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
