Thatching, done properly
- 🇮🇩 Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia
- Old Semarang Shop
- 2003 to 2021
- English, Indonesian
I've worked in thatching from 2003 to 2021. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 1,030 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.
More about Galih
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Galih: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
