I'm a mentor in first-generation students. I spent my career as a postal worker and now give some of that back.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

you helped me get my first first-generation students job in 2002. I still have your notes. Greetings from San Diego.
