I've coached hockey at Mobile Youth Club since 2006. Most of my players were between 11 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

You coached me in 2008. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Truly.

I still think about the day we all got the giggles in assembly. Best summer of my life! Thank you again.
