I coached boxing at Saint Paul Youth Club from 2014 to 2022. Most of my players were between 12 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Francis: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
