Fikir Mihret Belay
Painter, potter and teacher at Old Mekelle Studio
- 🇪🇹 Mekelle, Tigray, Ethiopia
- Old Mekelle Studio
- 2014 to 2022
- English, Amharic
I work mostly in embroidery, sometimes photography. My first show was in 2014 at Old Mekelle Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Old Mekelle Studio, which keeps me honest.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Fikir
I've had 6 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
