Fernando Otávio Batista
Mentor in software and teaching
- 🇧🇷 Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Since 2008
- Portuguese
For 18 years I've mentored people in software and teaching. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I make terrible puns.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Fernando
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Fernando: A gift would go toward free mentoring sessions for people who can't pay.
