Feng Yao
Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇦🇺 Hobart, Tasmania, Australia
- Old Hobart Works
- 1982 to 1999
- English, Mandarin
I'm a bicycle repair specialist. If you live around Hobart, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
More about Feng
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Feng: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
