Favour Queen Kalu
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Abuja, Abuja FCT, Nigeria
- Heritage Workshop
- 1986 to 2000
- English, Hausa
I'm a thatching specialist. If you live around Abuja, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
More about Favour
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Favour: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
