Faith Beatrice Shayo
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- 2002 to 2017
- English, Swahili
I've worked in blacksmithing from 2002 to 2017. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 470 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.
More about Faith
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Faith: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
