Evi Scholten
Mentor in first-generation students and trades
- 🇳🇱 Nijmegen, Gelderland, Netherlands
- Bamboo Foundation
- 2016 to 2025
- Dutch
For nine years I've mentored people in first-generation students and trades. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Evi
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Evi: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
