Weaving for eleven years in Kasarani
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Kasarani Repairs
- Since 2015
- English
I've worked in weaving since 2015. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 240 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Evans: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
