Evans Karanja Mutua
Painter, potter and teacher at Kasarani Art Collective
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Since 1993
- English, Swahili
I'm a illustration artist based in Kasarani. I've been making things since 1993 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
I take the work seriously, though not myself. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
More about Evans
I've had 4 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Evans: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
