Esteban D. Fuentes
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Chicago, Illinois, United States
- Chicago Works
- 1997 to 2018
- English, Spanish
I've worked in thatching from 1997 to 2018. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 920 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 24 years later for another job.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
What gifts mean to Esteban: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
