Erdem Mehmet Güneş

French and design and technology teacher, Üsküdar

🇹🇷 Üsküdar, Istanbul, Türkiye
Üsküdar Academy
Since 1996
English, Turkish, French

For 30 years I have been the French teacher at Üsküdar Academy. I teach Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.

More about Erdem

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

Subjects taught

French Design and technology Physical education

What gifts mean to Erdem: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
