I coached cycling at Latina Boxing Gym from 1980 to 2008. Most of my players were between 10 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
