Emily C. Flores

Leatherwork for eight years in Austin

  • 🇺🇸 Austin, Texas, United States
  • Frangipani Repairs
  • 2009 to 2017
  • English
My trade is leatherwork. I opened my own shop in 2009 in Austin and I'm still there most mornings. Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I like to keep things simple and honest. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Emily

Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

Crafts and trades

What gifts mean to Emily: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
